Nagahama Kurokabe Stout 5% It said limited brewing at Liquor Mountain so I picked one up. Deep inky black with thick tan foam that lingers and a roasty dark toasted oats aroma. Medium to full bodied with lots of dark bitter chocolate, toasted notes and it’s quite smooth overall. Pretty solid though the aftertaste does get a touch acrid.

On tap at the brewery. Black with tan lace. Very mild aroma, some roasted malt, a touch sweet. Medium roasted flavor, stronger hops than usual, chocolate and a touch of coffee, slightly milky. Dry, burnt, bitter finish. Medium body. A quite light stout, but good bitterness. Very dry.
