Cloudy gold with a frothy white head. Cooked banana. Sweet wheat and cooked and candied banana. Finish is wheat.

Keyaki. Yellow gold colour, small white head. Aroma is bananas, spicy, bubblegum and plastic. Taste is good, nice banana wheaty sweetness, vanilla ice cream finish. Smooth creamy texture. Solid.

Hazy orange color, small white head, Aroma has overriped banana. Medium-bodied. Lots of banana in the flavor, a bit yeasty. Quite straightforward hefeweizen taste. Could be more complex.

300 ml bottle thanks to Ingo on February 16, 2014. Marked 5.5% ABV and 2014.04.07.Cloudy orange color, small white head. Sweet, spicy, phenolic scent, also Belgian yeast. Phenolic, spicy, clove, hints of Belgian yeast taste. Phenolic aftertaste. Fizzy mouthfeel, medium to the harsh side bitterness.

Part of a set on Rakuten direct from the brewery, bottle. A very solid weizen, it poured with a nice white head over a cloudy gold body. The aroma is spicy & sweet and the flavor matches. One of the better weizens made in Japan I think.

Bottle from Tanakaya, Tokyo. Golden colour with a white head. Lemony aroma and flavour. A bit chemical.

Draught at the San’in Beer Festival in Yonago. Dark golden color, verging on amber. Clove, spice, banana aroma is accompanied by a tangy edge and something close to caramel. Rather tart flavor, decent wheat character, with cloves and bananas and great balance. Very impressive, approaching a Schneider Weisse.
