Super happy to finally try this. Tap at Craft beer holiday. Recommended by Fujizakura’s brewer and I gotta say the look is NEIPA but the aroma is full on Weizen! Oregon Kara no Ai 5.5% Big spicy cloves and eggy wheat aroma with a fairly full body. The taste starts of sharply juicy then gives way to cloves and wheat. A nice fusion style. I also heard that tomorrow the fest will be closed because of the typhoon and 10/31-11/4 by Heian Jingu there will be a Gyoza fest and Fujizakura will be there!

Tap at Lucua. Bright, pale pastel gold color. very cloudy. Nose is citrus, especially grapefruit. Quite tangy grapefruit flavor, wheat, light cloves, lovely fruity hops, a bit of catpiss and pine. Grand stuff.

Tap @ iBREW Shimbashi. Creamy yellow pour, yellow plum juice look with lots of pulp floating inside. Not that much foam, looking relatively flat. Nose is spicy, lots of weizen esters but that is also well balanced with bitter notes. Tastes fresh, fruity and has decent bitterness, does not feel heavy but quite clean. Soft weizen banana in the finish. Citrus and some tartness coming out closer to the final linger. Quite enjoyable, fresh and bitter thirst quencher. Well done, I do like this quite a lot.
