Aroma of roasted malt, citrus, tropical fruits, coffee, some leather, hint of liquorice, hops. Flavour is light sweet and heavy bitter. By far the best beer I’ve had from these guys, I hope this is a sign of things to come.

Bottle shared thanks to Deanso. Pours very dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of grassy hops, roast, light onion, a little dark chocolate and light weedy. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

750ml bottle. Opaque, darkest brown colour with late awakening, average to huge, thick, firm, frothy to creamy, fully lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Piney, herbal and citrusy hoppy aroma, roasty dark malty background, notes of green onion, grapefruit and orange zest, dark chocolate and minimally grainy coffee surrogate as well. Taste is roasty dark malty, hints of dark chocolate, some coffee, a minimally metallic touch, citrusy and bitter hoppy overtones, hints of lemon and grapefruit, some pine. Wohowa! I’ve got to keep an eye on that brewery - or that series at least.
