Deep copper with a very firm and forever lasting off-white head. Malt forward with some medium sweetness. There is some reserved but pleasant earthy hops along with dried apricots. Full, soft body. The finish has a hefty does of bitterness- more than the rest of the beer would let on. A malt forward IPA- nice enough.

Interesting, light spice, creamy. Bit of hoppy bitterness. Different. Real ale feel.

I wonder if I had an old bottle. This was not good at all. hazy amber colorcolor. Tons of Irish moss, sweet maltiness with some dried apricot and caramel. Low carb low bitterness slightly astringent. Not my cup of tea

330 ml bottle from Shinshu Osake Mura. Pours somewhat amber, some beige bubbles but otherwise relatively flat. Grassy nose, malty and a bit messy. Tastes malty well hopped with grassy hops, good balance. A little rough but in a quite normal way for a Japanese IPA. Good.

Tap at Stand Umineko. Hazy peach color, cloudy, low head. Nose is peaches, pineapple, nice NE style nose. Salty, fruity flavor, ripe peaches, pineapple, orange. The finish is quite rough and thus slightly off-putting. Oily, slick body. PRretty nice overall, except for the finish, which, I admit, I got used to.
