Tap at Tørst, labeled as 6.5%. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is peppery yeast, spelt spice, earthy, dough. Taste is the same, great dough, spelt spice, white pepper. Super-smooth, velvety mouthfeel. Excellent classic Saison!

Base saison for a lot of SARA BA beers as Bernice for example. Peppery spicy.

Gold, w just a slight haze, a touch phenolic, a bit sticky so I’m thinking underattenuated. Could stand to be cleaner and drier.

Tap at the Santa Cruz location. Hazy golden, low head. Lemony, yogurt nose, bretty hay. Grainy flavor, grapefruit, hay, yogurt, crisp, refreshing though not particularly complex and the finish is a bit stinky.

[2/13/15] Draught at Sante Adairius Rustic Ales in Capitola. Hazy golden. Aroma of juicy fruity esters. Flavor is quite dry, fruity, with some earth and spiciness, especially in the finish. Medium-bodied. Nice.

Sampled at the source on 15 Aug, 2014. Pale yellow color with aroma of mild Belgian yeast, lemons and mild pepper. The flavor is much the same with a nice hearty wheaty body. Notes of fruit and honey. Crisp and refreshing. Real solid overall. Pretty good.

Cloudy yellow 1 finger head nose is peppery with a ton of herbs and rye with some Nilla wafers. Veery dry mouthfeel. Some sweet graham cracker and yeasty bread. Delicious

On tap at City Beer, pours a hazy pale golden with a medium creamy white head. Nose is like a traditional rustic farmhouse ale, with loads of rustic spicy notes and some moderate barnyard funk. Flavour isn't as impressive as the nose, but this is still a high quality authentic saison, with very rustic notes, low funk, and Belgian yeast. Nice and dry, with a very rustic mouthfeel. Great stuff.

Draft. Blonde beer with a cream head. Yeast aroma. Yeast and spice flavor with light fruitiness. Medium bodied. Yeast and spice linger with light fruitiness.
