From tap at the brewery. Black color with beige head. Malty aroma, roasted, chocolate, coffee, cocoa, licorice. Sweet and light bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Tap at Piece. Opaque black, classic looking Stout. Sweet, sugary, smells like a Milk Stout. Thin and sweet, medium bodied. Sugary Milk Stout feel. Not so great. The 3 seems generous.

Draft at piece pizza. From notes. Coffee and chocolate dominate. Pretty darn good for sure.

A dark brown stout with a thin mocha head. In aroma, nice sweet caramel chocolate malt with butterscotch notes, dark fruits, nice. In mouth, a light bodied stout with sweet chocolate and caramel, light bodied, OK. On tap at brewery.

Draft sampled at the brewpub. Pours near black with a small tan head. Aroma of roast, dark chocolate, coffee, toffee and a touch of licorice. Flavour is light moderate sweet and over moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

On tap. Poured black with a thick medium brown head that lasts nicely. Aroma was dark with dark grains, a bit of roasted malt and a hint of coffee. Flavor was similar with roasted malts in the beginning and a bit of coffee coming out in the finish.

Tap at Piece Post DLD ... deep red brown ... sweet toasted malt nose ... big soft chocolate ... lots of malts ... little caramel ... nice but not deep and rich and dark enough.

Black color. Nice milky aroma of roasted malt. Dry mouthfeel, with a milky roasted malt flavor, some dark chocolate too. Luckily the roasted malt is not too strong. Good.
