Can at BPBW '19. Pleasantly bittersweet, light and refreshing lager that has a definite character but still easy to drink. Good one.

Can from the lcbo. Cloudy yellow pour, with a large white head. Aroma is incredibly grassy, just a Jose full of freshly cut grass and hints of lime zest. Mouth feel is perfect, carb is very lively. Finish is lightly bitter, clean, crisp, and again very grassy, with a light lemon finish.

Optisch helles Gold, satte Perlung, guter Schaum. In der Nase dezent hopfig. Im Trunk schöne Fruchtnoten, leicht bitter, süffig süß, hinten waldig, lecker.

Can, 0.355l. Aroma is grainy, grassy, citrusy and floral. Pours cloudy golden color with thin soapy white head, nice lacing and sparkling apperance. Taste starts refreshing citrusy and yeasty, following is bready and herbal, mouthfeel is smooth but rather dry, while finish is average bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Von Quality...

Sampled from the tap at Red Coe North Loop. Pours a clear pale straw yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has light grass and some leaves with a backbone of hay and straw. Flavor has a nice grass and hay combination with some grain and straw supporting.

Fairly clear pale. Big foamy head. Can from saint pete total wine and more. Smell is a little bit of grapefruit. Taste is pilsner like. Just a little of that pilsner bite. In the middle it comes across rather civilized and drinkable. Not bad overall, good example of a domestic pilsner.

Draft pour enjoyed in the sun at Hop and Hound. Excellent pils here. Or Zwickel. Or whatever it is. Excellent beer here. Cloudy golden appearance, bright. Rocky foam head. Refreshing taste, crisp to start. Cool finish. Soft grains, a lemon grassy note in there for me. This would make quite a damn good golf course beer. These are the important notes I take on beers. Good stuff!
