Can. Probably a bit too old. Brown with orange tints. Caramel malt, resiny hop nose. Chocolate, bready, a bit of lemon, oxidation, resin. Decent, too old.

Finally, getting around to trying this. The can is cool with a King/Queen deck of cards design with one side of the can saying Arigato (Thanks) and the other saying Oto-san (Father). Clear amber-red with a thick beige head which left too quickly and left hardly any trace behind. It's got a nice peppery malty sweet aroma which is complemented by some fruity elements. Medium bodied and smooth with a malty sweet initial flavor that then gives you biscuit, fruits, some tobacco and is all in all exceedingly well balanced. A really good beer and a good example of a red ale, crisp, smooth nice maltiness with a mild bite.
