Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 5/28/14

Aroma: The aroma is light and clean, with some hop notes as well as some pilsener malts
Appearance: It pours a clear yellow-gold color with a thin white head on it
Flavor: The taste is much the same, clean and light, with a bit of sweetness and bitterness
Palate: The body is light and clean, with an a solid mouthfeel, and a clean finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was a decent example of the style. It isn't a top notch pilsener, but it is clean enough to be pretty enjoyable.

Sample at the brewpub. Clear yellow-gold color with a thin white head that evaporates steadily to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops and toasted malt. Light-bodied with flavors of spicy hops, grainy malt and a bit of wheat. The finish is crisp and mildly bitter with an herbal hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Tap at the Brewpub, Chicago. Poured a clear light amber with a thin white head and lots of lace. The aroma is stale malt. The flavour is medium strong bitter with a malt liqourice hoppy palate and a nice long bitter finish. As far as Pilsners go, this one has flavour and isn’t so bad.

On tap at the brewpub. Poured a clear gold with a white head that dissipated slowly but completely. Aroma had a nice grass note with crisp lager yeast, light straw and hay. Flavor began with straw and hay but was joined by grass and eve a bit of pine. Beer was nice and crisp as well as easy to drink.
