Draft at Beer Inn Mugishutei, Sapporo, Japan. Pours fairly standard transparent gold, with limited persistent white foam, very fine. Aroma is intensely citrus, line in particular. Body is fairly dense with average carbonation. Slightly sticky. Taste is pretty bitter, though with a nice sweet entrance. Finish is fairly long and bitter.

Rating from memory two nights ago and only had half a half pint. Clean palate, nice balance, good tropical fruit and citrus notes. Modestly aggressive bitterness. Very well put together IPA.

Tap at Bungalow. Clear gold with a decently thick white creamy head of foam and giving off a citrusy earthy pine aroma. The beer has quite a full body with a somewhat slick viscous mouthfeel. The taste is woodsy pine, a bit of malt sweetness and a sort of citrus/mango. It’s pretty bitter but pretty good for a brewery I’ve never heard of in Japan. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Bungalow. Nice hoppy nose, grapefruit, tropical fruits, passion fruit and some pine. Clear pale gold, looking more like a pilsner. Tropical fruit flavor, peppery and spicy hops, prickly, bitter. Nice fruit with a bit of sweetness, tropical ripeness, and a dry, bitter finish that ends up leaving a rather unpleasant and long-lasting after taste. Pretty great until the very end.
