medium brown color. Some woody notes but found it was a bit too yeasty in the nose. Nice mouth, but a bit more bitter than I would expect, woody and earthy, coffee but some salt candy. Definitely new world take. Fairly dry finish with wood lasting. Ok

As Yururira on tap at Bungalow. Happy Mild May! Hop Kotan Yururira English Mild 3.5% 12 IBU Amber brown with a creamy beige head of foam and an enticing malty aroma that from a foot away is giving me dark bread, hints of tobacco and grains. Light bodied, raspy dry carbonation with a taste of hardtack, caramel and tobacco leaf. Tasty and refreshing, one of the better Japanese made molds I’ve had as it is a clean brew with a solid aroma and flavor. I’m happy I stuck to my word when I said if I see a mild I’ll have a mild to celebrate Mild May.

Tap at Bungalow. Bready, malty nose, toast more than anything. Light caramel. Orange-brown with a light haze. Great malt flavor, bready and toasty as hell, good caramel, not overly sweet, with a lightly hoppy finish. Really an authentic mild. Great toasty malt flavor.
