12oz bottle at my daughters in Laguna Hills; my nightcap on 16th January 2022. Slight haze to the golden body, white topping. Coffee esters with a Belgian yeasty nose, taste a pretty weird coffee flavoured Tripel, took me a while to sort myself and the beer out, add the booziness and the Bourbon twist for good measure and I had only just began to like it when the bottle was empty! OK as a one off, although interesting, it did test my senses, in a strange way.

Bottle.Clear golden colour with medium head.Aroma of coffee and vanilla even good bourbon note nice warming mouth feels and smooth finish.

ABV: 10.0%. Clear medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, light coffee, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, fruity yeast, light coffee - mocha. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming. [20211228]

--Bottled, from Systembolaget. --Almost clear golden, firm creamy head. Distinct aroma of Ethiopian coffee. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Some grain and marzipan, hidden behid the coffee, bourbon shows up and brings a peppery finish. An elegant base beer, perhaps the flavouring gets a bit much.

Gyllengul klar vätska med vitt skumlock. Sädig, degig doft med en klick av smör. Smaken levererar annan upplevelse med kaffebönor. Förvånande låg maltsötma och med en ordentligt maskerad alkoholstyrka. Men ännu en gång försöker jänkarna göra sin tolkning av ett belgiskt öl.

Bottle from Brew Cavern. Hazy golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are coffee and slight juicy berry. Hints of vanilla. Medium body.

355ml bottle. Pours dark gold with a large head. Aroma is bitter coffee, sweet honey, straw and bourbon. Taste bitter coffee and straw to start, honey sweetness and bourbon in the finish. Spritzy.
