Pretty nice. Pleasantly caramel malty with a touch of citrus hops in the finish. Quite rich and rounded too. Almost dubbel like.

Bottle from Yamaoka. Pours a deep cloudy orange with a medium, thick head. Slightly strange nose, tart / acidic, lots of wheat, orange and apricot. Also just a bit strangely pissy. Flavor wheaty, spicy yeast, lightly tart. Very yeasty, and rather sweet and malty, more like a Belgian blonde than a true saison. Not bad, though. Definitely tastes Belgian, but not really dry and crisp enough to be an authentic saison.

Bottle from the brewery. A deep orange copper color with a thick head of foam. The aroma is wheat with a tangy white grape to it. Medium to full bodied in texture with a dry finish. The taste is grains, wheat then a spicy clove & mild saison funk before a brief hit of that tangy fruit kicks in to be wiped up by the crisp dry finish. Pretty good, maybe a touch boozy.
