Copper. Sweet caramel and brash bitterness. Pine. Long bitter finish. Bounces between sweet and dry. It’s ok but lacking any real depth of character.

Nordic pint glass showing pale amber with a finger of clean white foam. The nose shows moderately intense notes of pine and light malt. The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Pine forward with a balanced malt backbone and a pine bitterness on the finish. Balanced, clean and simple.

Crisp and ever so slightly hazy golden coloured body with a thinnish pure white head that fades quite, but only starts out at about a centimetre. Aroma of grass and hay with a little dose of citrus and resin, but a lot of hops altogether and a dash of sweetness as well. Light-bodied; Strong dry and grassy notes start out with some white grape juice and a dose of hay and flowers and a touch of lager yeast near the end. Aftertaste shows the pale grain, a dash of flowers and hay with a long-lingering dry and hoppy bite that shows some softer and very low alpha acid hops that seem like European or German than anything from America of the South Pacific. Overall, a decent beer at best that really tastes and feels like a lager with a touch of a hoppy and dry characterisitic, but nothing too pungent and quite mellow for any ale at all, especially a 'real' IPA or one that calls themselves one. I sampled this 350 mL can purchased a few minutes ago from Lawson's Natura in Daimon, Tokyo, Japan for 280JPY sampled a few minutes later in my hotel room here in Tokyo, Japan on 04-August-2019. La
