Tap at MCBT. Devil craft Barrel Aged Devil’s Footprint barleywine 9.8% Great malty aroma with lots of caramel and some Barrel character. The taste is richly malty with maple and oak, some boozy heat. It complimented my chicken Kema curry very well. 3.8

Tap @ Devil Craft Hamamatsucho. Clear amber pour with some white bubbles appearing on the top. Nose displays sweet malts, kind of overshadowed by light booze notes. Taste is light, lots of dried fruits, dried plums but also dried peach and apples. Sweet. Booze is giving extra layers. Pretty good.

lovely nose of oak, vanilla, toffee and bourbon. The bourbon whacks you initially, the mouth is fairly heavy but feel like the barley wine character is a bit overwhelmed by the bourbon. Warming finish. Slightly boozy. Smooth. Nice stuff, but prefer the non-BA version better.

Tap at Kamikaze. Nose is bourbon, wood, vanilla, treacle. Cloudy brown-orange. Nice sweet luscious malts, caramel and treacle, whisky, vanilla. Smooth and silky, almost flat. Rich English character heading in the Lee's Harvest direction. Great.
