Bottle from the series. Aroma is apple pie, booze, yeasty. Taste is apple again, where's the orange? Bit flat as expected. Fruity. Hot, but it's alright. In the yeasty bit, get the orange. Bit murky. Not sure and loads of booze.

Bottle into a tulip showing unfiltered deep amber with no head. The nose shows moderately intense notes of sweet Belgian yeast and malts. The palate is light bodied and flat. Practically water. Subtle sweetness with barely perceivable notes of bourbon with strong hoppy bitterness throughout.

500 ml bottle, 1 year old. Mineral nose, toffee, orange, wood, burnt sugar. Glowing orange-brown and flat. Flavors of wood, treacle, some light orange. Oily, silky and watery and completely flat which makes for a horrible body. Bitter finish. One last disappointment from this series.

From the brewery, released in October/November 2016 so with a bit more than a year on it. A rich ruddy orange brown color with a big malty sweet aroma and virtually no head. Looks kind of milky NE IPA like. The aroma is bourbon malt and oranges while the flavor is smooth sweet biscuit, oranges and bourbon. Pretty damn good though the body is definitely a bit on the light side. If the look/body was improved this could be a great beer.

Calvados, stewed oranges big sweet malty nose with modest sourness. Low carbonation, calvados, oranges, cinnamon so well integrated. Smooth as hell. Wow. For 10.5% this is lovely. Just excellent. On tap at libushi
