lemony hops, sweet caramel element, but quite nicely balanced. Maybe like a yona yona with a bit more body. Some pleasant fruitiness and a touch of spice.

Can from Lawson. Finally found this any got a few cans. Pours clear amber, quid dark amber actually, with a measured beige foam on top. Nose is nicely piney, good resiny hops and some tropical fruits. taste reveals that even if the body had caramel (that could be deducted from the colour), the flavour is full on hoppy, resiny and mixed with pine needles. Great one actually, maybe the body is a bit watery but real luxury to be able to get this kind of fresh stuff from my local Lawson at very accessible prices. Well done Yo-Ho!

I've been getting lots of reports saying the new Yo Ho Lawson exclusive Hoppy Amber is good stuff and was finally able to find some. Crystal clear Orange-Amber with a tan head and a citrus zest and pine hop bouquet. Medium bodied piney hops, citrus and sweet biscuit maltiness. Well balanced and less than 300¥ so a definite winner for Fall! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can from Family Mart. Nice C. hop nose, citrus, light tropical papaya, rich malts with some chocolate and caramel. Glowing orange-brown with a high, airy head. Solid hop flavor, nice enough bready malt, light caramel, not too sweet. Not all that special but solidly made.
