Signed edition. Capped 750 brewed in 2016. But all else matches. Pours coppery brown with a transient beige head. Aroma of sour fruit and caramel. Med + body. Flavor is a rather smooth, earthy, woody, grapey sour. It’s a bit “aged” in character; a bit oxidized. One of the most accessible BFM sours I’ve experienced. Quite rewarding. Even has a mild burst of sweet in the finish.

At Brassin Public. Pours light brown. Aroma is light ASBC with nuts. Body is heavy and acidic, really sour, low acetone, but much more mellowed down than other ASBCs. Lingering barrel palate. As usual, a very good beer.

Barbie Garl Barrel aged Sour (Chateau Latour) 11% on tap at Before 9's BFM Event. This was my favorite beer of the day. A reddish brown in color with a thin beige head. The aroma is acidic, barrel and fruity wine notes. The taste is oaky Sherry/port/wine barrel and acidic beer. Great stuff.

Tap at Before 9 BFM takeover. Reddish brown, low head. Nose is wine, wood, some caramel, cherry, green apple, vanilla. Dry and elegant, lighter vinegar than the regular, less sweet, more barrel, grapes. Excellent.
