On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy orange yellow with medium white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is grass and earth. Slick body, grass, pine, grapefruit, nice bitterness, dusty finish, very good.

Draught at the brewery, 9/21/17.
Moderately hazy, bright maize-golden-bronze with a fluffy, good-sized, well-retained white head atop.
Nose is strong nectarine, leafy, green, vegetal spice and almost wintergreen-like "bitterness". It feels like the hops were stretched too thin, essentially, and there's no real depth or juiciness and the malt being quite cracker-thin and sparse just serves to exacerbate things. Was this the start of the Smuttynose contract? Things took a sever nosedive as this, One Hop this Time and Santili all began being brewed at Smuttynose.
In the mouth it's surprisingly thin, overly dry, moderately bitter and showing no supple, juicy, softness or depth of hop flavor. Just dry nectarine, bitter grapefruit pith, pine resin and somewhat scratchy malt textures. Writing this as a retrospective, I'm VERY glad that the Smuttynose contract is done. Hopefully the Guild down in Pawtucket can do a better job.

Can from the brewery. Good hoppy nose, juicy grapefruit, orange, mango, passion fruit and some pine and spice. Cloudy orange-gold with a high, airy head. Minerally flavor, grapefruit, spice, peppery, with a dry finish. Kind of East-West hybrid. Good stuff.
