5oz pour at brewery. Pours clear gold with white head. Aroma has strong liquorice, orange zest, sweet malts. Flavour has liquorice, orange zest, sweet malts, berries. Not terrible, not great: hop expression is feeble.

473ml can. Pours a hazy gold orange with a medium, foamy, short lived, off-white head that laces. Sweet aroma of bready caramel malt, orange, honey and floral hops. Sweet flavour of bready caramel malt, orange peel, mango and piney hops in a dry, bitter finish. Light to medium body with a watery to oily texture and average carbonation. Pretty standard old school IPA.

Poured from the tap. Slightly hazy gold with small white head. Biscuit malt, mild tropical hops with a hint of dankness and staleness. A bit underwhelming.

Pine and grapefruit for a nice little West Coast IPA. Pours hazy orange with ok head. A little mercury in finish, some peel astringency. Tap at brewery.

Okay foggy doggy orange with a bit of foam. Good apricot aroma. Flavour is more apricot with a big oily mouthfeel. Adequate IPA though does not break out of the pack.

At the source: piny bitter and planty IPA. Old school in the American sense. Not a bad flavor profile. Amber body.

On tap at the brewery with Alex and Eugen. Aroma is slightly dirty, tropical fruits. Taste is piney hippy bitterness. Interesting.

Bottle from the brewery. Hazy light amber, with a big head. Looks good. Earthy nose with toasted biscuit malts, some nice yeast esters and lemon-blackberry hop. Moderate bitterness, some sweet caramelly malts. Light, slightly raspberry hop-ester background. An old school IPA like you’d expect from R&B, decent balance, but a bit disappointing in that it teases at brightness but doesn’t really have enough of it.
