Aroma is modest cabbage malt, has good foam on a soft yellow liquid. Flavour is sweet lager. Mouthfeel is medium with some sugar. This isn't bad, typical lager on the sweeter side of things.

Tap at YVR. Dry, citrusy nose, lemon, grapefruit, crackers. Hazy pale golden with a thick head. Lightly sweet, ends dry, nice light crackery malts and solid hopping. Enjoyable and easy drinking.

On tap. Pours Amber with light head. Light aromas of wet fought malts. Flavors carry same with a bit of bitter grass and paper. Needs work.

Draft - Light citrus and some sweetness. Clear gold with a decent white head. Pale malts and some light citrus with some earthy hops. Decent, but more English than American.

Long overdue re-rate, draught @ YVR. Hazy light amber colour. Not much head but they use weird glasses here. Aroma is a bit yeasty with an estery, appley character. Low bitterness, a touch of biscuity pale malt, but mostly this is quite yeasty. The yeast kind of dominates this beer, lending it a green quality. Sun referenced a Vietnamese kit beer brewery and shes not wrong. This needs at least a little centrifuge or something to allow the malts (which seem tasty) to show through. And more hop would help with the balance. Underhopped pale is a bit like undersalted soup. So better than the first time I had it, but still below average.

Hazy deep blond color with creamy head. Mild aroma, a bit puckery, papery. Soft and dry mouthfeel; papery malt flavor, with traces of cereals; correct bitterness but no interesting hop traits. Some glue and yeast in the final.

On tap at Steel & Oak, pours a hazy golden yellow with a medium white head. Nose is very light, with floral hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is fairly light but well-balanced, with floral hops, biscuity malt, and a lightly tart citrus component. Quite interesting for the style - slightly off-kilter in the subtlest of ways. Good stuff.
