On tap at Pig Iron. Hazy peach with medium off-white head. Aroma is raspberry, medium body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is tart raspberries.

Draft pour at Snallygaster 2017. Poured a mostly clear reddish color with a small white head. Aroma was light grain, lots of raspberry notes. Light salt notes, but pretty mild. Flavor was raspberries, light tartness. Nice.

Draft at Snallygaster 2016. Poured a dark orange color with a small off-white head. Aroma was raspberries, light salt, mild tartness. Flavor was about the same - lots of raspberry tartness. Very nice. More of a general sour.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a bright pink red color with a small white head. A big fresh berry nose. The flavor is big sweet berries, very natural, a bit of funky slight tartness, some sweet bready malt. Solid.

Tap at Which Craft. Medium red with a fine head. Nose is raspberry, light cream and vanilla. Raspberry flavor, very light malt, slightly tart with a bit of yogurt. Ok, but watery and a bit lame.

Nice clear copper and light amber coloured body with only a touch of a tan head, barely coating the top. Aroma of raspberries, a touch of malt and icing sugar and a dose of fruits and some vinegar-y smells that make this more fruity than expected. Light to Medium-bodied; Sour and tart raspberries at first with a vinous and slightly acidic flavour with some nice sugars right behind and a touch of malts for balance, and finishing with perhaps a hint of salt or brine which provide some more tartness as well. Aftertaste shows a lot of fruits with cherries, strawberries and especially raspberries all around. Overall, a nice fruit beer with some light vinegar flavours along with a little salt and a nice tart finish, all with a good malt balance throughout. Nice to sample and worth trying, especially if you like fruit beers and only a touch of a gose-like beer. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Shopper’s Food Warehouse in Alexandria, Virinia on 21-June-2017 for US$1,25 sampled at home in Washington on 18-August-2017.

Pours a cranapple red from a bottle, thin white head dissipates into a slight ring, no lacing. Berry flavor and aroma, tart. Good beer.

12 ounce bottle from Kroger Hydraulic. Hazy reddish pink, thin creamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of salt, wheat, tart berries. The taste is berries, wheat, salt. Medium bodied.

Kroger (Barracks) bottle. Pours deep pink with a large pink head. Aroma is strawberry/raspberry, brackish water, light grass. Flavor is tart berry - certainly raspberry, salt, perhaps cranberry - yes, very much cranberry in the tart finish. Only a hint of sweetness near the end before it again turns bitter.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a red-orange color with a large creamy orange-white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was faint sweet raspberry. The flavor was tart raspberry and yeast. Long finish. Medium body. Ok.

6 oz pour on draft at Snallygaster 2016. Orange with off-white head. Aromas of raspberries, stone fruit. Tastes of raspberries, light salt, tartness. Light body with a dry finish. Refreshing.
