Very fruity and juicy aroma, lots of orange, tangerine, lightly tropical. Nice thickness about it. Hints of the sake barrel in the light booziness, but doesn't feel heavy. Orange juice sharpness. Nice stuff!

Got a taste of this at Yellow Ape's 5th Anniversary Event and I am glad I finally tracked it down. Similar opaque gold color as the juicy ape with a slightly more fruity though less complex aroma. The taste was crisp and clean easy drinking. Nice stuff.

Hazy yellow, white foam. Nice looking for NE style . Nose has this usual Shiga Kogen hop profile, herbal. Taste is smooth, juicy and sake barrel is giving some roundness to the beer. Juicy, drinks smooth and easy. Fresh and again, world class performance from Shiva Kogen

very cloudy, basically it’s the same as the yuburu. Hardly pick up the sake barrel but minisculy better than yuburu

Tap at Keyaki 2017 Spring. This was a collaboration, and 20% of the beer was aged in a sake cask. Huge tropical fruit nose, pine, grapefruit, a bit of sake. Looks like shit. Muddy. Flavor of grapefruit, pine, tropical fruit, smooth malts, some sake coming through. Interesting new take on the NE IPA.
