Ruby red in color, Bière De Garde by Extraomnes is a beer with intense and enveloping hints. The nose and the palate perceive sweet fruity notes, macerated fruit, and more spicy notes with peppery tingling. Velvety and soft in drinking.

More of a belgian pale, clean ferment, but a strong dank modern hop, which is a bit disappointing, but it’s good overall. Lambiczoon Milano

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours loaded gold, almost amber, with fine white foam. Aroma is weak, slightly citrus, like orange peel, honey. Body is fairly dense, with average carbonation. Taste is medium sweet, with a nice spiciness. Final is fairly long.

Gusher. Pours an unattractive murky dark orange, with a white head that quickly settles to a thin layer but shows nice persistence thereafter. Moderately intense aroma brings a dominant sugary feel, followed by some fruit in syrup and slight honey. Taste is very sweet as the smell suggested, possibly too much. Honey, sugar, fruit in syrup, alcohol quite detectable despite the not too high abv, a sticky/muddy sweet finish. Not unpleasant but also not too clean. Medium bodied with average carbonation. In short, unbalanced and not too clean.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, dark amber colour with golden glimmer and average, sudsy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white head. Mellow malty aroma with a bready-spicy, yeasty touch, rather unspecific fruitiness with hints of of dried fruit, fig, date or the like. Taste is dry, leafy-herbal hoppy and spicy malty and yeasty, hints of (grey) bread crust, some dried fruit, fig and date again. Full body, good complexity - very nice.
