Draught @ Van Moll Brewpub. Dark red-brown color with a medium sized quite dense and creamy off-white head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is malts, dark malts. Don't get much more. Flavor is malts, dark malts, malt bitter, distant hoppiness. Not enough hops to balance the beer well. Dark malts dominate. Decent body, medium carbonation.

Tap at NBPF. Almost clear dark brown with small beige head. Light roasted malts, soft coffee, light lime, some German hops, chalk, light brown bread. Light sweet and medium bitter. Under medium bodied with dry feel. Meh.
