Bottle from the series. Bit of plasticine, earthy and touch of citrus. Not so exciting. Bit malty. We weren't so sure about this one as the Kansai crew seemed to be.

Bottle from the brewery and served in a lager glass where it’s deep clear gold color and thick pillowy head of foam that left behind a more than generous heap of lacing had my mouth watering. Great light hay like malt character and spicy noble hops with prickly lemon/lemongrass notes in the aroma. Light bodied and dry the taste is earthier than I expected and has a clean green bitter herbal hoppiness. Quite a bit more ascerbically bitter than I expected. Good.

Bottle from the brewery. Interesting hoppy nose, herbs, mint, nice crackery malt. Very clear golden with a medium, foamy head. Tasty. Tangy hops, some lemon, very herbal, and quite bitter as well. Tasty malt backbone. Wow, a rather long-lasting bitterness. Very nice, fun lager. Easy to drink a ton of this if I had that much.
