Tap at Mikkeller and Friends in Shimokitazawa. Pours a slightly hazy copper with a finger of foam. Lots of caramel and toasted walnut in the nose with some light persimmon. More persimmon on the palate with a dab of caramel and some medium bitterness on the finish. Not bad at all. --- Beer merged from original tick of Kekkateki ni Amber #122 on 22 Oct 2016 at 18:34 - Score: 7

Ushitora #122 Kekka Tekini Amber 5.8% on tap at Bungalow.
A clear lustrous mahogany color with a light beige head. Spicy malts and herbal hops rise to tantalize your nose. Medium to light bodied with a sandpapery mouthfeel. The taste is a biting spicy malt, a dab of caramel sweetness and a dose of herbal hops. Alright.
