Bottle from the series. Light aroma of caramel and apple. Easy drinking. Taste is good. Sticky caramel, nice fruitiness, good stuff. Fruity, but very easy drinking. My winner so far.

I was expecting a straw gold but it poured a dark orange with a thick beige head. Unexpected but I think it suits Fall just fine. The aroma is super bready, cotton candy spice with cloves - pleasingly sweet aroma. Medium to full bodied, smooth mouthfeel and the taste is bready, spicy cloves and white pepper, tangy citrus and caramel fudge covered spongecake. I’d say this is on it’s way to being halfway to dunkelweizen territory though ratebeer has it listed as an Oktoberfest/Marzen. Solid brew for Fall.

Bottle mail order from the brewery. Quite dark, almost like a dunkel, brown with red and orange tints and a pretty, fine, thick head. Hazy. Malty nose, toast and caramel. Nice malty flavor, medium sweetness, caramel, bread, chocolate. Interesting hopping. Nice peppery, spicy, light citrus hops. Quite subtle and tasty. Great malts. Very nice. Rich, lovely lager.
