Bottle from the series. Nice fruity aroma, taste is interesting, bit of smoke somehow. Caramel. Nice fruity bite. Good stuff

A deep ruddy brown with a thin beige head. The aroma is of a sharp caramel with nuts. Medium to light bodied, it’s got a bone dry finish. It goes down very smooth with a bitter caramel, brief hit of sweetness and a biting lightly bitter finish. Very crisp and well done.

Bottle by mail order. Roasty, malt nose. Caramel, earthy hops, bit of chocolate, grass, some esters. Deep orange-brown, clear, low head. Rich and malty but not so sweet. Finishes dry and spicy, some peppery hop. Very nice, rich alt, gives a feeling for the coming autumn for sure. Really nicely balanced. Not a special, mind-bloing beer, but very well put together and hits the style on the head.
