Tapped from a keg at Bottle Caps in Watertown. An off-white head on a rich golden body. The nose is a real hit with dank pinyness, lemon and a touch of orange. Nice fresh and distinct hop tastes - grapefruit pulp, orange rind, pine and a touch of peach. Complimented by soft sweet malt and a touch of honey. Really solid density on the body and the carbonation helps keep the finish clean. A-1.

Growler from Super Buy-Rite in Hamilton, NJ. Medium gold color. Large fluffy white head. Tropical fruit and floral hop nose. Tart, bittersweet malt flavor upfront. Unripe pineapple, grapefruit and pine needles. Slightly dank hops in midtaste. Dry, peppery bitter hops in finish. 8.6% ABV is well hidden. My first Singlecut brew is very tasty. Well done.

On tap at Augur's Well, pours an opaque cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out tropical fruits upfront, with a little resin and piney quality. Flavour is dry and rather spicy in the hop department, with a great piney and resinous hop quality. Very dry finish, with little residual sweetness. A little too sweet but still well-done.

Rich, hazy, cloudy peach and copper coloured body with a nice, six centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of dank hops, grapefruit, resin, pine, passionfruit, tropical fruits and a bit of malt to keep it balanced. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong tropical fruit and passionfruit flavours with a good deal of sweetness to blend very well with the strong hops and bitterness that goes with it to couple with the strong malt backbone and the dense alcohol finish. Aftertaste shows the tropical fruits the strongest, but ends with a very noticeable and pungent alcohol warmth at the tail end, all with a lot of body. Overall, a very nice Imperial IPA with a great tropical fruit flavour showing some bitterness from the hops, but coupled nicely for a good deal of sugars. I sampled this 50 cL bottle purchased from Eataly in New York, New York on 30-May-2016 for US$7,80 sampled on the fifteenth anniversary of 9/11/2001 to pay remembrance to New York, after having just run past the Pentagon Memorial and living two blocks from it, sampled at home here in Washington on 11-September-2016.

Tap at Lost Borough. Very cloudy golden orange with lace. Nose of tropical fruit, grapefruit, and oddly, a touch of vinegar. Sweet, thick grapefruit flavor, nice spicy finish. Just a bit syrupy. Good but the session was better.

Some citrus and some pine. Decent balance. Light booze here. Hazy golden pour with decent head. Light bitter finish. Tap at Rattle n Hum east.
