Bomber from the Belmont Market of Choice in Portland. This one claims to be made with rye, Amarillo and Centennial. Pours copper with a beige head. Aroma of citrus and resin. Med body or better. Flavor is somewhat toasty malt with citrus and resin. I think rye spice is detectable. Not wholly dry (it has a barley wine aspect) but bitter enough to solve that problem. Might be a mild resin hop burn. Decent DIPA.

22 ounce bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a small white head. A big fruity hoppy nose. The flavor is big oranges, the citrus is really big, smooth, lemons, a bit of toast. Sweet. Lots of late boil hops, not a lot of bitterness. Good.

On tap at PIB 2015, pours a clear pale yellow with a large white head. Aroma brings out an almost feet-like hop quality, with herbal notes and crackery malt. Flavour is clean and crisp, with grassy hops, sort of a pils like quality, and a crisp crackery malt component. Tastes more like a pilsner hybrid. Quite nice, albeit unusual double IPA.
