Dark and full-bodied beer with distinct roasted malt taste and flavor. Heavily hopped and dry-hopped with Galaxy and Jade hops for an extremely intense overall experience. Winner of the beer festival Līgo Ziema 2014. homebrew contest.

On tap at both brewery outlets. A wonderfully complex beer this one. Layers and layers of taste to dive through. Pours virtually jet black, with a beige head that doesn’t dissipate. The nose delivers treacle, chocolate and molasses. Initially taste is the simple overwhelming bitterness, but then other flavours start to show through, coffee, mint, rum punch, almonds, even pineapple. Finish is dry, bitter and lingering. Definitely my favourite Latvian beer.
