Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are wheat malt, yeast hops and has a sweet malty finish.

A bottle at Firi Firi Beer Hous, Corfu Town, Island of Corfu. Murky golden, minimal head. Moderate yeasty aroma, light banana, dusty and malty. Sweet with light yeasty dryness. Smooth texture, medium body, moderate carbonation, light finish. Has its good and bad sides.

Bottle 0.5l from the brewery. Hazy, yellow colored. AROMA- yeasty sour, wheat, no banana nor other weissbier characteristics. FLAVOR- slightly sweet and sour, lightly bitter, yeast, wheat, wood hoppy notes. Medium bodied.

50cl Bottle at Belle Epoque, Ermoupolis. Hazy deep golden colour, white head. Aroma of lots of clove and nutmeg, smells nice and spicy, yeasty, light fruity sourness. Flavour is quite sour, acidic, spicy, yeasty, wheat, tart - bitter finish. Light bodied, way over - carbonated, hard to drink. This brewery hasn’t impressed me yet.

500 ml bottle @ Old Garden, Parga. Unclear orange/golden body with a big, creamy off-white head. Aroma is wheat yeast, banana and some ripe fruit. Flavor is sweet, quite yeasty, banana, fruit and unfortunately butterscotch (that seems to be quite common with the Corfu beers). Medium body and aftertaste. Drinkable, but not great.

500 ml bottle at Zythos Dore, Thessaloniki. Almost clear golden orange color with off white head. Malty, light yeasty and light hoppy aroma, some citrus notes, grainy, bready. Sweet and light bitter like aroma. Light to medium thin to oily body with soft carbonation.

[ As Corfu Beer Amorosa Weiss ].Unclear medium orange yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, citrus, yeast, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, citrus - fruity, weiss bier yeast, yeasty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150828]
