Bottle at Komachi. Nose of Asian pears, apple, rice. Creamy and estery. Big pear and apple flavor, quite sweet, some orange as well great fruit. Creamy and full. Lovely fruitiness is outstanding. It is a bit too sweet, though, and I wish it was attenuated to a higher dryness, or else used more bittering hops, which are almost non-existent. I like it a lot, though.

Can from Le Collier Marunouchi. Shared the 2015 Orochi Wandering Poet by Shimane Beer at Galmegi Haeundae. As part of a sake/beer hybrid tasting. 9% An orange gold color with a peach yogur aromat. It’s fairly full bodied at first but has a dryness in the finish. The taste is fruity peach yoghurt and bread. Tasty but I’ve had nicer in this series, this year’s version seems tame.
