Tap at Gremlin. Interesting, sweet, candy, slightly boozy, quite unusual taste. Sweet, floral. Cherry. Strange but interesting.

Tap at Ape. Minerally nose, grass, pine. Medium malts. Hazy orange, low head. Resiny, bitter, biscuit, bit of caramel. Quite bitter. Lots of resinous pine. Full and smooth. Too bitter and rough.

Tap at Nakameguro Taproom. Clear, full amber brown with a one-finger fluffy white head that lingers throughout. Light melon and papaya on the nose with some grass and bark undertones. Taste is bitter with earthy, nature-like bitterness...more sticks and bark and grass. Bitter finish that has a lingering dryness. --- Beer merged from original tick of Shonan IPA HBC 342 on 12 Dec 2015 at 18:38 - Score: 7
