Tap at Fujiyama. Dark orange, hazy, lots of bubbles. Lace. Malty, fruity nose, peaches, light spicy yeast. Full malty flavor, nice fruit, grains, coriander, light grass, peppery finish. Decent. Would like brighter hops.

Super hazy and cloudy golden and orange coloured body with tints of honey and straw, all with a large, slightly soapy tan head, about seven centimetres tall. Aroma of grass, hay, bananas, wheat, soap and tons of yeast and sediment - nice and funky. Medium to Full-bodied; Very yeastie flavour with some bread and dough noticeable coupled with a more pungent banana, clove, coriander seed and herbal element showing through. Aftertaste is rather robust and full-bodied with the yeast and wheat really coming through at the end along with some honey and fruit sweetness, a slight grass and herbal finish as well. Overall, a good and enjoyable saison that shows a lot of carbonation and movement and a lot of yeast and breadie notes as well. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Belmont Station in Portland, Oregon on 03-May-2015 for US4,46 sampled at home in Washington on 05-September-2015.

Bomber from Belmont Station. Pours a gold which seems lightly orange tinged with a decent near-white head. Aroma is more suggestive of wit than saison. Med + body - foamy carbonation helps that. Flavor is Belgian yeast/spice, it’s earthy, even earthy +. Fruit esters are pretty low key, but I think I get light stone fruits. It’s very much towards dry, and it seems to have a little hop. Works for me.

On tap at PIB 2015, pours a hazy copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast and floral hops. Flavour brings out Belgian yeast, light candied sugar and floral notes. Not traditionally saison-like. Too many residual sugars as well. Okay.

Draft - Light Belgian yeasts and nice citrus notes. Clear gold with a rich white head. Light citrus and grass with a touch of bitterness. Decent.
