Pugnant citrusy dry nose with a bit of funk. The mouth is like licking a hanakin peel. The citrus bitterness is over the top and takes away from the balance of the beer. Very dry. Not horrible but good

Tap at Craft Beer Holiday. This was fermented with sake yeast. Pale gold, cloudy. big nose of sweet oranges, wheat. Thin and a bit watery body, strange yeastiness that comes off as a bit funky and weird. Dry finish with citrus notes. Not really sure this worked so well.

On tap at Craft Beer Holiday. Ise Kadoya Hanakin Saison 4% A cloudy straw gold with a filmy white head of foam that leaves generous lacing. Initially the aroma is light zesty fruitiness & spicy wheat. Light bodied with a lively round carbonation. The taste is burnt rubber & nail polish - ugh! Wtf??? The finish gives you a bit of spice and citrus but this beer has serious issues. Fail. As it warms up those harsh flavors mellow but for me it is still a miss.
