As Setouichi lemon at GJBF 2016. A light cloudy gold with a lemon zest and diacetyl aroma. Light bodied and dry. At first the taste is decent lemon zest and dryness but then diacetyl and an odd metallic battery acid like flavor lurks in the back of your mouth. Pass.

Tap at Komachi. Started reasonably well with a whiff of lemon. Go a little deeper, and there is some detergent and funk under there. Cloudy gold, shiny, with a low head. The flavor was foul and infected, actually took a work of genius to make a beer this disgusting. It has been years since I tasted anything this horrible and the brewer should be ashamed for not dumping it, but actually charging for it. Nasty, infected, soapy, chemical puke. Almost made me sick, to tell the truth. How can something aiming to be beer end up this way? Even the lemon flavor managed to get fouled.
