Pours dark, cloudy amber with particulate matter and a thick white head. Aroma of sweet malt. Tastes like malt with a very slight tinge of hops. Palate includes resin, malt, citrus, yeast and a sweetness that drowns out the hops that are apparent as an aftertaste. Interesting take on an IPA

Draft at Top Hops Beer Shop, NYC. Clear gold, white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit and pine. Taste follows nose and has a solid malty base. Nice.

Deep Golden, not much head. Earthy, woody and somewhat alcoholic aroma. Earthy, quite chewy, woody accent. Moderate bitterness. Crystal sweetness. Clean, well-made old school IPA. Glad they brought it back.

Can from Total Wine, North Miami, Florida, USA. A hazy orange/amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, malty, grapefruit, caramel aroma. Tastes similar, hoppy, malty, grapefruit, caramel, hint of sweetness. Decent.

Botle: Cloudy amber with a small white head. Sweet tangerine, peel scent. Candied orange, pink grapefruit, orange-peel flavours. Sugary and nectary...very light feeling..... Sweet, solid.

Bottle. Sugar, orange, malt, and orange peel aroma. Hazy golden yellow with large off-white head. Mildly sweet orange malt and moderately strong grapefruit peel/pine flavor. Nice balance. Pretty good.

Bottle. Citrus, pine, caramel nose. Cloudy orange-amber. Lacy head. Resiny flavor, citrus, caramel, strong bitterness. Old school IPA all the way, and decently done.

This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy bronzed yellow to orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some light lacing sticking and then sliding down into the beer.
The smell had a decent arrangement of balanced citrus to piney hops intertwining with the caramel malts.
The taste came across bittersweet citrus hops with the caramel malts here and there. There’s a light sweet caramel to bitter citrus aftertaste leading to a semi-wet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation hits but isn’t overbearing. Decent harshness runs over my tongue.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good AIPA that I would have again.
