Tap at the brewpub. Pours Amber with a white head. Light pine aroma. Med body. Tastes like caramel, slightly, lightly toasted, with some earthy citrus coming forth. Maybe pine. Good drink, but I prefer the Leglifter. This one does do some nifty lacing.

Tap at Bud. Orange-amber, hazy, with lace. Malty, biscuity nose, pine, caramel, old school. Nice malt character like Munich, not s sweet, citrus hops, quite bitter. Nice.

Sampled on draft at Hou Thou this beer poured a golden amber color with a huge fluffy white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was thin peppery and vague fruity hops. The flavor was thin and bitter with pepper, vague fruity hops and tasted watery. Medium length finish. Light body. Disappointing.

A nice reddish amber ale with a thin white head. A classy C-hops aroma, piny, floral and enjoyable. A crisp biscuitty malt with restrained c-hops, lots of citrus, grapefruits. Medium bodied. On tap at brewpub August 2007.
