Pours amber, beige head does not stay for long. Aroma is sweetish, aft and malty. Taste is quite clean, has some malt sweetness, bit of faint fruits and just a bit of bitterness towards the end. I am not getting much from this beer but it is actually drinkable.

Bottle into a plastic cup on the Hitachi on the way to Kiuchi Brewery. Clear amber with beige head. Aromas of malt, citrus, biscuit. Tastes of bitter citrus, toasty notes, biscuit, light caramel and malt. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

Served this 7-11 exclusive in my dimples mug & had it with curry. Had this out of the fridge a good 10 minutes warming up. A caramel amber brown pour with a pretty uninpressive head. Decent nose of malty caramel and some zesty citrusy hops. Thin bodied with a pretty rough carbonation. The taste has some bready malts, caramel and citrus. I seem to be getting some smokiness from it which is nice and fairly surprising. It is not too shabby after hearing other reviews it’s better than I expected.

Bottle from 7-11. Deep amber-orange color with a tall, thick head. Nutty nose, caramel, earthy hops. Slightly sweet flavor, with chocolate and caramel, but again nice earthy hops. There is lactose in here, and you get a bit of that sweetness. Just a bit, although it lingers a bit and that is a bit irritating. Overall pretty decent stuff, though they should lose the lactose. At half the price of a craft beer, I’ll take this for regular drinkin’, though the wet hopped Suntory was better.
