From bottle at Braukunst Live 2014, Munich. Light yellow hazy body with medium creamy white head. Aroma of clove, citrus, orange, flowers. Tastes of spices, orange, lemon peel, grass, some candy. Mouthfeel is medium, slightly creamy, strong carbonation and finishes bitter, dry, spicy, with lemon peel. Nice, refreshing, shares some similarities with a Belgian Wit.

14.02.2014, tap @ Amundsen Bryggeri & Spiseri:
Nice creamy longlasting head. Aroma is fresh fruity, citrus peel, hay, light malts, yeast, leafs, grass, hints of sulfur. Taste is dry grassy, hops, harsh grass, bark, leafs, pine needles, cardboard, citrus peel, hints of sulfur. Longlasting bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Fair enough.

250ml on tap at Amundsen. Spotty lacing from a solid white head, slowly diminishing. Gold-amber coloured body. Fruit hoppy nose, pineapple up front. Flavoured with pineapple, grapefruit and lemon joined by malty sweetness beneath. Lingering dry bitter ending. Foamy in the mouth. Nice partner to the assorted herring food. (Oslo 12.02.2014).

On tap @ Patricks. Unclear yellow body with a big, creamy white head. Very fruity aroma of grapefruit, oranges, oranges zest, coriander spices, yeast and light pale malt. Flavor is refreshing as well, light pale malt, citric fruit like grapefruit and oranges, hint of lemon, oranges zest, coriander and Belgium yeast. Quite bitter, still in fine balance. Medium body with a long lasting fruity and bitter aftertaste. An interesting mix of IPA and wit, it’s actually neither, maybe closest to an IPA. Some elements of a hoppy Saison as well. A bit difficult to place, but really refreshing and moreish.

On tap at Kick. It’s an unclear pale golden beer with a finger thick off-white head. The aroma it’s very tropical, with grapefruit and some peaches, a faint note of catpee and a little malty and yeasty hint. It’s very hoppy in the flavor too, on a malty sweet backdrop. Lots of peaches, lemon and grapefruit and a pleasant level of bitterness. It’s full bodied and with a nice carbonation level, semi dry on the palate. Lasting finish with a nice bitterness. A really pleasant and easy drinkable beer, pity I don’t expect to get the chance to have more of these. 140115
