Fourth of July leftovers. Making room in the fridge for that fucking huge watermelon that we never got around to. :D Poured into my Sly Fox pint glass. White-wash, soda head. Clear, faintly yellow body. Smell is of mushy apple sauce, slightly musty, with something else between fresh sneakers & head-throbbing sweet sparkling wine. Taste is like a fruit salad that was left out got too warm & went sour. Second half is just too much dip candy. Some metal, plastic, & more noticeable pear then their perry. Residuals linger for a little bit. Not quite watery. Carbonation is great, but that only pushed the headache deeper into my head. Toss up between this & Woodchuck Dark & Dry for those dark & desperate moments.

Bottle. Pours with an ultra pale, clear, yellow body with a wispy head that fades fast. Aroma of sulfur, dry apple, plastic and (if I read my notes right, salt). Taste is slightly tart and slightly back-sweetened. Very bland, filtered and watered down. Small, pesky, force carbed bubbles.

Apple aroma dominated by rubber with some yeast. Clear champagne color, little carbonation. Ordinary apple flavor. Tart but mundane.

Aroma somewhere between cooked apple cider and fresh juice. Clear and golden tinged. Tiny bubbles. Thin in body. Moderate carbonation. Slightly sour. Not very cooked. Tart in the finish.

12 oz brown bottle that is surprisingly not a twist off, Oh well, go get the opener. Sweet aroma of sour apples greats your nose. Looks like a pale yellow American lager. Taste is fresh and slightly sour, sweet but not sickening syrupy sweet. Leaves a delicious aftertaste following each swig. Too nice too be a beer. Can’t detect alky, not like a wine cooler. No head, and few bubbles tho I do get a good tingle on the palate for each swig. Should not be rated against beer. Quite different than most beers, perhaps this can be compared to fruit beers. Finish is pretty straight forward, sweet and tart. A very mild alky bitterness is sensed on the back of the palate during the very end of the finish.

Light blond color. Some aroma of apple. Medium-dry mouthfeel, with some acidity, light apples and citrus fruits. Wrong.

bottle - Pours pale yellow with almost no head. It has a light sweet apple aroma and flavor. The finish is dry and a little tart. It’s not too bad, but needs something more. At least it’s not overly sweet.

(Bottle 35, 5 cl) Pours a clear golden with a small, white head. Tart apple aroma. Medium body, dry with distinct accents of apples and quite some sourness - a wee hint of sweetnes underneath. A very straight cider with no flaws. 220306
