Can, from the brewpub at the Railroad street. Pours clear golden-copper with large foamy off-white head, faint piney resin aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter resinous taste, smooth body, long resinous finish. Not very striking.

Tap at the brewpub. Mostly clear deep golden color with a stingy white head. Citrus and pine with some bready caramel malt behind it. Pretty old school a bit sweet.

Sampled from a 16 oz can this beer poured a hazy bronze color with a huge creamy-soapy orange-white head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was gritty and leafy floral hops and sour caramel. The flavor was sour caramel, tobacco and leafy floral hops with a moderate bitterness. Medium length finish. Medium body. Ok.

Tap at the brewery tasting room. Bright, cloudy gold with orange tints. Nose is citrus--grapefruit, with grass and minerals. Sweet biscuits and citrus flavor, orange and grapefruit, grass and a bit of catpiss. Crisp and nicely hopped.

Location: Sampled at TapNY, 4/26/14
Aroma: It has a decently hoppy aroma of citrus, pine, and some floral notes as well
Appearance: It pours a murky orange color with a decent amount of beige head
Flavor: The flavor is much the same, solidly hoppy, with a decent malty presence as well
Palate: The body is medium, it has a nice feel, and a somewhat dry finish
Overall Impression: This is a pretty solid, nicely hopped example of an American IPA. It was solidly above average for me, with a pretty nice flavor profile.

Growler bought while in NY. Pours a light tangerine with a citrus and pine hops aroma. Flavor from growler one was amazing with a nice mix of malt and hops, but growler 2 was a little washed out and kinda weak. My rating is an average of the two...
