Tap at the brewery tasting room. Orange-amber with a fine head. Nutty, malty nose, some caramel and earthy hops. Crisp, clean flavor, malty but with decent bitterness.

2004 draught @ Woodcliff Lodge Hotel in Spencerport, NY. Pours a good- colored moderately deep orange, with some foamy light yellow head. Aroma has some pretty decent caramel malting, notes of grainy-nuttiness. Flavor is much better than I was expecting from this usual dismal tasting brewery. Pretty clean, some yeast in the middle with a good caramel flavor; not overdone with hops. Medium bodied, lightly creamy mouthfeel after it has warmed/breathed.

Light amber in colour with a thin white head. Sweet-spicey aroma with a malt background. Light-bodied; Watery; Flavour consisting of vinegar, malt and a subtle spiceyness. Aftertaste bland and dry. Overall, not good for the style at all, and not worth trying. I had this beer on draught at the brewpub in Rochester, New York on 11-October-2003.
