Apr ’15. On tap at the restaurant/brewpub. It poured a lightly hazy golden body with medium sized head. Aroma was lightly yeasty at first, fine honey malty with sharp herbal and cardboard hop presence. Flavor consisted of straightforward bitterness, herbal and citric, then it got rounded with chalky and biscuit malt. Rich and creamy within its medium body, with a long, bitterish herbal finish. Enjoyable. A very well made helles/pils.

Unclear golden color with a fine white head. Looks really nice. And there it ends……some herbal, grassy and malty notes….with to much yeast coming up. Oh no. Not at all ok.

(Draught at Pfefferbräu, Berlin, 25 July 2014) Golden colour, slightly hazy, with dense white head. Malty, slightly spicy nose with notes of bread, hay and a gentle roasty touch. Malty taste with bread, ryvita, citrus peel and a generous spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry, with a soft and rounded malt character. Very tasty, quite an excellent helles. Nice one.
