Tap at Watering Hole. Clear pale blond fluffy white head. Aroma creamy, bit of wheatiness. Some fruitiness. Taste is nice, soft and creamy, bit of wheat, slight hop finish. Some cherry maybe.

Tap at Garage 39. Didn’t realize i hadn’t had this since the brewery change. Fruity citrus nose, some biscuits. Light and clean. Quite fruity flavor, grape, cherry, low carbonation. Ok, but felt a bit too sweet and fruity, especially at first. Later it really grew on me with its dry finish and high drinkability.

5% a Kölsch which a cool label. Served in a tulip at Asahiya. 550 yen A crystal clear light gold with a thin filmy head. A grainy sweet aroma. The flavor’s not bad, malty graham biscuit, mild fruitiness & a dry bitter finish. I don’t get much of a hop presence from this and suspect warm or in a few months it wouldn’t hold up well.
