Keyaki. Bit less spiky than the Indian. More fruity, strawberries, bit creamy, dry and grainy. Nice.

Tap at Craft Beer Works Kamikaze, Osaka. Hazy yellow color, good white head. Spicey Saison yeasty aroma. Light-bodied. Flavor has gooseberry, white pepper and saison yeasty. Quite spicey and sessionable.

Shiga Kogen’s secret beer at Beer Keyaki Spring 2014, recommended to me by a few people this is another great saison from Shiga Kogen. A crystal clear gold with a nice spicy saison nose, peppery. Quite a good beer that didn’t disappoint. I hope to see it on tap again in Kansai. As the name says perfect for early summer.
