Tap sampler tray at the Brewpub Hackescher Markt. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is overripe bananas, cloves, estery. Taste is mostly bananas, a bit cloves, vanilla, milky yeasts, quite sweet. Slightly phenolic finish. Oily mouthfeel. Solid Weizen, a bit too milky and messy, though.

(Draught at Brauhaus Lemke Hackescher Markt, Berlin, 25 Aug 2016) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, wheaty nose with bread, hay, banana, grainy malt and clove. Malty, fruity taste with notes of bread, hay, banana, vanilla and a touch of clove. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Well made and tasty, but not really spectacular. Quite nice.

Hefig bitterer, milder und weicher Antrunk. Zum Mittelteil schnell abflachend, die Hefigkeit bleibt noch am deutlichsten vorhanden. Kurzer Nachhall. 6/8/8/7/9/8

Draught @ the brewpub on 1 April 2015. Pours cloudy amber with airy white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with notes of hops amd touches of banana. Sour-sweetish flavour of grain and yeast, with notes of banana and touches of hops. Mild, slightly fruity and bitter aftertaste. Low carbonation. Not very clean. Not very impressive, either.

Keg at the brew pub, Hacks Markt, 20/07/15. Hazed orange with a decent egg shell white covering that retains well. Nose is banana, pear drops, clove, spice, yeast notes, bread. Taste comprises caramel, banana loaf, spice, straw, yeast esters. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent Hefe.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours cloudy orange with a white head. Aroma of yeast, citrus, light toffee and light herbs. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and bitter. Light to medium bodied with light carbonation.

Cloudy dark golden color with a fine big off white head. One big nice lacing. Wheat, some banana and some clove in the aroma. Fine body and a bit rich carbonation. Wheat, some yeast, mild banana and some clove in the flavor. Nice tasty hefe weisse.
